NuFlex: Pre-Paid VoIP
Our NuFlex solution allows you to be in full control over your VoIP Services. NuFlex is a pay-as-you go VoIP service plan. This way you only pay for what you use, unlike those so-called 'unlimited' monthly service plans. NuFlex provides pre-paid, ala carte pricing for our VoIP services:
FAQ Can I use my own VoIP Device? Yes! In fact, we encourage you to use your own VoIP Phone, ATA, Softphone or Asterisk box. If you need a VoIP device We recommend a Linksys-PAP2T-NA. How quickly can I get an account setup with NuFone? Typically account verification processes take about 72 hours. However this process can take a lot longer, so please be patient. What forms of payment does NuFone Accept? We accept Credit Cards via Google Checkout, PayPal, Certified Check or Bank issued Money Orders. When can I use my payment for NuFone phone service? Our system is automated, however for security purposes your funds may not be immediately available for usage. Payments can take up to 72 hours or longer to be applied to your account. This means you should plan on keeping more than enough money in your NuFone account to avoid service interruptions, as our system will automatically cut off your service if your balance reaches $0.00. You have been warned! Can NuFone configure Asterisk for me? NuFone provides Asterisk configuration assistance for $99 per hour. We do provide basic configuration tutorials that will assist you in enabling your Asterisk system to place and receive calls via NuFone. Does NuFone support Trixbox/Fonality/Other Asterisk-Based IP-PBX? While we do not utlize anything but Asterisk ourselves, we still feel confident that our dCap certified engineers can configure any Asterisk based PBX solution in a reasonable amount of time. Subject to $99 per hour fee. What VoIP Procotols does NuFone support? We support IAX and SIP. What codecs does NuFone support? G.711, G.729, G.723.1, G.726, GSM, iLBC, Speex, and even LPC10. Does NuFone support fax? We can enable support for T.38 on most of our telephone numbers. We are currently working on an outbound faxing solution. We cannot recommend the usage of G.711 based faxing, due to the lack of reliability. However we do have reports that G.711 based faxing does work with NuFone VoIP Services. Have More Questions?
